The first American edition of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" (1998) in fair condition. The dust jacket is from an earlier printing and does not match the book itself (second state).
The dust jacket says “J.K. Rowling” and does not have the “Year 1” stamp but the book says “Rowling” and has the “Year 1”stamp. The dust jacket’s price has been clipped. The quote on the back is Publisher’s Weekly, not The Guardian. But other indicators are present/not present leading me to believe it’s a 3rd or 4th print dust jacket.
The boards are fuchsia and purple diamond embossed cloth.
There is some cover wear and corner bends and the dust jacket is damaged. There is a ring spot on the back cover.
The spine is intact and the pages are in good condition.
